If you are looking for chrome bathroom furniture or accessories, then you are probably in a majority as far as the choice of finish is concerned. When it comes to the bathroom, just about everyone, it seems, wants chrome as the finish of choice. So, not surprisingly, manufacturers and retailers go out of their way to provide exactly what you want, whether in the way of faucets, bath and shower, shower arms, towel rails and other bathroom accessories.
It should come as no surprise that the only difficulty in looking for a chrome towel rack is that you will be spoiled for choice, which may lengthen the process. It is best to have a quick browse around just to see what sorts of designs are available and at what price, and then narrow down your personal choice once you have a clear idea of the towel rack or rails that you need.
Of the unheated chrome towel rack choices, the names that seem to crop up a lot while searching are Gatco, Polder, Zenith, ClosetMaid and a few others. Anyway, suffice it to say, you are well catered for. Some are very simple and cheap, but will probably suffice for many people. It is a 12 inch rack, so not for a large family on its own, but this wall mounted rack includes hooks for smaller towels as well as the bar.
At close to $25 is a very unusual design which may appeal to a lot of people, called the Aquatico Over The Door Towel Rack. This is in chrome, too, and is very convenient to install. It is simple but contemporary, and would go well in many a modern bathroom. Perhaps a bit more robust looking, and to some more elegant, comes the Polder Chrome and Glass Bath Rack, which sells at about $30. If you prefer something more solid, say in forged brass with chrome finish, the something like the Gatco 1541 Double Towel Rack with Chrome Finish is probably more appealing, and the price is not excessive, at under $50.
